News Corporation

  • 1953 - Rupert Murdoch takes over his fathers business after he died
  • 1957 - News Limited launches TV week
  • 1960-1969 - Cumberland Newspapers, the Sydney Daily, the Sunday Mirror and The Sun were acquired. The firm establishes Australia's first national newspaper, The Australian.
  • 1973 - News Ltd enter the US market
  • 1988 - FOX broadcasting company begins operation
  • 1989 - SKY television is launched. 
  • 2001 - Fox Family Worldwide Inc is sold

    Some good research here. Next time to improve try and finish the questions on the sheet, and add in pictures to make your work more visually interesting.
